We are a small animal hospital located near the corner of Alabama Hwy (Hwy 151) and Nashville Street (Hwy 41), close to downtown Ringgold. Our patients are dogs and cats only; we do not treat exotics or avians. We typically see patients by appointment during normal business hours. We perform surgeries by appointment only on Monday, Thursday, and Friday between 11am-3pm. Call us to schedule an appointment today! **We are temporarily closed on Wednesdays due to staffing.**
Dr. Gerard Clarke grew up in Smyrna, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. He received his BS in biology from Georgia State University and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia. After practicing in Augusta for several years, he completed an internship and pursued a residency/PhD in veterinary pathology at UGA.
Dr. Clarke returned to small animal practice in 1996 as an associate at the Animal Medical Center in Fort Oglethorpe. He and his wife, Paula, opened the Ringgold Animal Hospital in 2003.
